I found this video or commmerical very interesting. I learned alot more about Obama's views and beliefs for the country. He talked about what he will do about problems we are facing today and he's looking at the future problems of our country too. I encouarge people to watch this commmercial because its very informal about his views and beliefs. Well good luck to Obama and Biden in race.

Interesting....The future of Technology

Some of the pictures on this video looks amazing. I mean i wonder how these companies think of ideas like this. I mean just look at the new ideas of the laptop, there are so thin and shiny looking. I guess thats the future..I'm just curious about when these new technology will come out and if they can really make it happen. Well lets just when they come out.

Guitar Hero Expert.

In class this past Thursday. Some guys mentioned a little boy being very good at Guitar Hero. Well i decided to look it up YouTube. What i found was amazing and shocking. This boy playing Guitar Hero is only 8 years old and he is really good.

I have played Guitar Hero once and even though i was at the beginner level, i was not very good. I failed like two songs and honestly it didn't catch my attention. Probably because i was not very good.

But when i look at this little boy, i wonder how his parents let him play that, how long he has been playing, and if he even goes to school. Hopefully he gets something out of this Guitar Hero game. But that's up to him and his parents.

Anyways i just have to say again that he's very good or really good.

Columbine High School Massacre

When i read the chapter 9 about video games. I came across a part about two high school boys who shot and killed 12 student and 1 teacher at Columbine High School. I thought this was shocking and i never heard of this massacre. Well here is some more information about the Columbine High School Massacre.

Frontline, The Choice 2008

I watched 4 of the chapters of the Frontline, The Choice 2008. Will first of all i did not know that Obama started his campaign for presidential during 2004 or he was thinking about running for president. When i saw him speaking for one the first times...he really spoke his mind and thought about every little detail like little kids on the street with no home or an Arab family that is being rounded up. These worry him or bug him. I thought his speech was cool and i thought it was very interesting. Then i did not know that McCain was an outcast to the Republican party for several years and how he wasn't really liked by the party too. I honestly didn't know that he ran for president during 2000 and that he was against Bush. But my question now is who would be the best president Obama or McCain?
Honestly i think that the presidential race is between Obama and Plain. I know that i need more information on their views and that's when i can make my decision. But I'm kind of leaning toward Obama.....what do you guys think?

Today's Presenations

Today i learned alot of new information about different media we have today. The first presentation we saw was about male enhancement pills called Enzyte. I thought it was interesting and funny at the same time. Honestly i never really knew there were pills out there like this and how popular it was with middle aged males. Well i surprised to find out that it didn't work very with the growing part. Funny. The another presentation was about snowboarding with sponsors. This came to me as interesting too because i never really knew how much sponsors can influence the people around them. Also i didn't know that Red Bull was a sponsor of snowboarders. The presentations that caught my eyes the most was the ones about barbie and seventeen magazine. I really never knew that both these media can have an effect on young girls, i mean really young. Like when they talked about how 80% of 10 year old girls tried dieting and really only 20% of the 80% were overweight. I found this very shocking. I mean i honestly thought that girls from the age 16 on up were really the only ones being effected. But all in all the presentations today were very well said and i enjoyed them.

Navajo Skinwalkers: Yeenaaldlooshii

Last night when i was hanging out with some friends, we decided to tell some scary stories. From where i come from there is a saying about things call Skinwalkers. So i decided to tell some of my stories about Skinwalkers or experiences i had with seeing or hearing about one. Well I'm not really sure how to explain what skinwalkes are but ill try my best.

These are how would i say this, like the evil people or people who know how to do witchcraft in our tradition. These are people who can wear animal skin or other wise be shape shifters. They usually use the skins of dogs, coyotes, sheep, and I'm not too sure what else. Some things my elders told me about skinwalkers was they are a bad thing, they can witchcraft you, and in order to become a Skinwalker you have to kill a close family member of yours or some one you love. They can travel at a fast rate of speed and can travel about 60 miles in one night. I believe most of these Skinwalkers like to travel at night. Well Skinwalkers are something i don't like and most of all would not like to see.

I'm not really sure how these people can wear animal skin and witchcraft people. But i think its stupid at times because they usually do these witchcrafting: because they are jealousy or they don't like the person who they witchcraft and because they just want to.

Can smoking in Movies have effect on children and teenagers?

I have heard about topic once before in high school. Well i never really look into the topic but now I'm interested. When we watched the film today in class called "Good Night, and Good Luck", i couldn't help but noticed how mostly everyone in the film had a cigarette. Well i really don't mind people smoking but i was wondering how this effects children or teenagers who watch it. Or even other movies that have lots of smoking in it.....
Well i did more research on the topic and this is what i found on the topic of....children and teenagers.......
After i read these articles, i wasn't really surprised because children and teenagers are influenced be smoking on movies or television or magazines and all other kinds of media. What they see in the media today, they think its cool or that is what they should be doing to fit in the crowd or something like that.. But really what they are seeing is a bad influence and honestly i don't about smoking on movies or television because its always going to be there.....
i don't know..... what do u guys think?

The 97th Annual Shiprock Fair

The 97Th Annual Shiprock Fair is now going on and well be going on through out the weekend. Well i pretty sure most you guys know where Shiprock, NM is. But if not then i think looking it up on the Internet would be the best choice. I think.....

Well i have gone to the Shiprock Fair for as long as i can remember because my family really likes to get together that weekend and enjoy all the fun going on. I'm not really sure that I'm going to this fair though.

The Shiprock Fair is an event which brings together thousands of people and have all kinds events, Navajo ceremonies, pow wows, carnivals, and selling of all kinds of food but mainly Navajo food. I would say that the best thing that i like about the fair is Saturday morning when the parade begins. It usually lasts about an hour and a half but i find it really interesting. But what my dad likes to watch is called the Yé'ii Bicheii Dance which usually lasts about 3 days during the fair.

There are usually alot of people here but I'm really sure about how much. All i know is i see alot of my friends that i haven't seen in awhile. Which is fun only sometimes...
