When i watched the video and read the article. I thought it was amazing about how this teenage girl was about to survived four months on an artificial heart. I never heard about teenagers having this kind of operation done but only adults. I wonder if this will be the future of...hmm.. I find that she has a lot of courage to go through with this, because i would be scared that the machine would die on me. But i thought she was really brave. But four months wow....sounds long.

Meth use on the Navajo Reservation.

As i was reading this article "Meth use down among Navajo County teens" . From the Navajo Times, i keep thinking why are there still lots of teenagers using meth on the reservation that i hear about from friends or the people themselves. Well i hope they are making progress because meth is a big problem on the Navajo Reservation. There are are lots of teenagers out there that do use meth and its scary. One thing i didn't know was about how many people on the reservation are selling and making meth. I mean this is crazy.. how can people make stuff that can kill then sell it for money or to make money. It just sounds crazy to me. I wish there were better things to do, like create things or activities for the teenagers to do. So they won't get bored and do things they aren't suppose to do. I just hope we can deal with this problem soon but i can tell from the reading the aritcle that they are on their way.

This is crazy and a very shocking video. I mean little girls who haven't even got to puberty yet. I was really shocked to see this video. I wonder how all this got started and who's idea it was. I mean crazy.... little girls!! I wonder how they even get these little girls and if the girls are forced to do this kind of stuff or if they want to? Well i just wonder at how many places does this happen or what other countries? Well i don't know.... i found it crazy and very shocking.

As i was reading through this article. I honestly never heard of like 8 out of 10 of these grocery stores. Well i sometimes shop at Safeway and i never really looked at it being a healthy grocery store. I really don't know why. Well next time i Will have to look around right. The number one healthy grocery store is called Whole Foods. I think i need to shop here once in my life because from reading the article it does seem healthy. But i may never really know. I wouldn't think that Albertsons would be one. Honestly i thought Wal-mart. or yeah i don't know...

Anorexia in the Media

I was shocked and disgusted by some of the pictures that i saw in this video. I mean its crazy. I honeslty didn't know that anorexia was big in the media. I was just plain shocked when i saw this and how skinny those girls were...god it crazy!. These kind of images are thought of as cool or thats how im supppose to look like by young girls and it just shocks me. I mean well i don't know i never really knew anyone with an eating disorder and i hope that it stays that way. But this is just crazy.
I think that more people should see this video....

Trick-or-treater, 12, shot to death, police say...

This article it about a 12 year boy who was shot by a guy who thought he was being robbed. The guy who shot the boy was said to be an Ex-convict. Sounds weird but it happened. I wonder what the guy was thinking? I mean didn't he expect people to come to his door because it was halloween night. Well i also think that the trick or treaters should have been warned about the guys back ground....but WOW... honestly when i read this article i was pretty shocked. Here's the link to read more about it Trick-or-Treater. I was thinking...when i was out having fun with my friends, some little kid was shot and killed. Now that think about i wonder how other crimes happened that Halloween night. I bet it was a lot though.

Voting DAY. Nov. 4th 2008

Okay i really wanted to vote in a real voting booth today but i couldn't. I received my ballot last week through the mail and that's how i voted...Sadly. This was my first time voting too. Well i come from Arizona so that's probably why. I think its called an absentee ballot. Honestly i thought you could still vote in a voting booth even though your not from Colorado but i guess not. Okay when i first received the ballot, i noticed that there was a lots of reading involved. So i had to take my time reading each paragraph. Well honestly, it took me about an hour and half to read the whole thing because some the yes or no questions...i really didn't get. So i had to ask some friends about it. But the one i knew was about birth control and i voted no on that one. One thing that i forgot when i sent in the mail was my identification or an ID but i got that taken care of.Well all in all it was interesting about how i got to vote. I'm just wondering now who will win the election????
